Pankaj Sudheer Mishra

Photograph of Pankaj Sudheer MishraPankaj’s family is originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh but they moved to Bhilai before he was born.  Pankaj’s father worked in the Bhilai Steel Plant as a metallurgical assistant until retiring at the end of 2001.                            .

Pankaj did a BA in History, Political Science and Sociology at Science College, Durg, part of Ravi Shankar ShuklaUniversity and graduated in 1996. The theatre has been a major influence in his life. He joined The Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA) in 1993 and continues to be an active member. In 1998 he was selected by the distinguished art film director Mani Kaul to play the lead role in his film “The Servant’s Shirt”.

 In Jandarshan Pankaj specialised in production and direction but chose to be assessed for direction and editing. He is primarily interested in fiction film.
