Anoop Kumar Sahu

Photograph of Anoop Kumar SahuAnoop comes from Datan,  a village in Raipur  district  where his father owns  6 acres of land.    After leaving school he began a BA and while at college was active in theatre and in the National Service Scheme. As a volunteer he helped in pulse polio campaigns and  eye camps. In his village he was a member of a  gammat  group (Chhattisgarhi musical theatre)  in which he sang and danced.  

During the video training Anoop chose to specialise in camera and sound but  also took on several production management assignments.  While doing the training he also completed  his BA in  geography, sociology and economics  from Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur.

He is interested in current affairs and documentary but would also like the experience of working on Bollywood films.

He likes traveling and hopes to travel abroad sometime.
